Founding partner

Dan has more than 15 years experiencing running clean energy business units at oil and gas majors. Most recently from 2012-2018 he founded and managed BP’s environmental commodities division of more than 20 front office employees (excl. joint ventures and asset operating companies) worldwide, including building the largest renewable natural gas to transport fuel biofuel value chain in the US as well as sourcing and structuring 50% of all US forest carbon issued by 31st December 2017.

Prior to BP Dan was Head of Clean Energy at Gazprom (2008-2012) and Director of International Finance at Arreon Carbon in Beijing, China (2005-2008). After graduating in 2005 Dan received his Bachelor’s degree and two postgraduate Master’s degrees in Biological Sciences and Management from the University of Cambridge, UK. Dan is also a Board Member of the International Emissions Trading Association.

Dan has also been a Board Member of the International Emissions Trading Association.
